Most guests agree that the Excalibur Hotel and Casino’s buffet in Las Vegas is a great way to get people in and out of the city. It also offers a reasonably priced buffet experience.

The buffet at the resort, which was once known as the Round Table Buffet is now called “the Buffet” and was renovated in late 2014. It cost just over $6.2million.

There are 610 seats in the restaurant’s nearly 35,000-square-foot area. The restaurant’s dining area features a colorful red carpet, black booths and dark chairs, as well as high ceilings and contemporary artistic touches. It is located upstairs on Castle Walk Level, just above the main casino floor.

Excalibur Buffet Prices & Hours

These are the current standard buffet prices. However, prices are higher on holidays weekends, including Labor Day weekend, and special events like Super Bowl weekend.

Day Adult Child (6-11)
Monday, Thursday & Friday (8 AM – 3 PM) $24.99 $14.99
Saturday & Sunday (8-3) $29.99 $15.99

Children aged 5 years and under eat free; children 12 years old and older have to pay adult prices.

These prices do not include 8.25% Clark County sales tax. The good news is that the buffet is now completely self-service so there’s no tipping. After tax, a weekend buffet for two would run you $64.92.

You should also note that as with MGM Grand Buffet and other MGM Resorts buffets, prices go up during holiday weekends.

Although the exact amount of the increase can change, holiday buffet prices typically go up by around four dollars per person.

Editor’s Note: The menu items and pricing for beverages below were taken from our article before the shutdown. This will be updated as more information becomes available. However, menu items will likely remain the same as before the shutdown.

There are no premade salads available on the salad side. There are three types of lettuce to choose from and you can add your favorite condiments and toppings. A few cold salads are available, including a chicken salad and crab salad as well as a quinoa and quinoa salad. On a recent visit, the two soups were minestrone and chicken noodle soup. Breads

You won’t find these additions at the lower-priced weeknight buffet.

Dessert

Excalibur’s dessert section is actually on a separate island that is a bit further from the main area. This is perhaps to encourage you to burn more calories before you dive in.

You can either eat at the dessert island or you can go around it to try different sweet treats.

You can pick your ingredients (e.g. blueberries, strawberries, blueberries, pineapples or strawberries) and the chef will prepare them right in front of you. Then, you can cover it with chocolate sauce (if desired).

You will also find a variety of cakes and pies in the dessert island, such as banana cream pie and chocolate cream pie. There are also a variety of pies and pies that don’t contain sugar added. A small selection of gluten-free desserts is also available.

You’ll also find the popular soft-serve ice cream dispenser with only chocolate and vanilla, as well as a chocolate lava cake or bread pudding.

Individually-served items include cookies, cupcakes and small portions of caramel flan with fresh fruits.

A small self-service stand offers Pepsi products, iced coffee, tea, and some juices.

For $19.99, you can purchase a one-time to-go container at the buffet. This price is applicable to all buffets. The to-go box costs $21.99.
